Background: Born on Naboo, little else is know about Palpatine's early life. He was the apprentice to Darth
Plaqueis, who was obsessed with immortality. Palpatine suspected that the purpose of this was the replace him, so he
killed him in his sleep, taking the title of Master unto himself. He took Maul as his apprentice, as a cover, he became
a politician, the senator of Naboo. When the Queen of Naboo, Amidala, voted "no confidence" for the corrent chanselor, Palpatine
swayed enough senators to vote him as Supreme Chansellor. After Maul's death at the hands of Kenobi, Sidious took Count
Dooku as his new apprentice. In his new seat of power, his plans were working perfectly, he orchestrated the clone wars
to gain himself more power. At the end of them, along with his new apprentice, Vader, he overthrew the Jedi and used
them to gain sympathy in the senate. He then created the Galactic Empire, one of the most impressive military archievements
in the history of the Galaxy.
